The Hadley Group is proud to announce that UltraFENCE™ has recently helped Coopers Fencing Contractors in their successful bid to provide site security fencing for the £10 million restoration project of Aston Hall.
The Application: The Hadley Group is proud to announce that UltraFENCE™ has recently helped Coopers Fencing Contractors in their successful bid to provide site security fencing for the £10 million restoration project of Aston Hall. The project started earlier this year with funding from English Heritage and the Lottery fund to restore the four hundred year old grade one listed building to its former glory. Aston Hall is a 17th century Jacobean Mansion that was the scene of an epic Civil war battle between its Royalist defenders and Parlamentarian forces in 1644. Situated next to Villa Park, today Aston Hall is a museum providing a valuable educational resource on the English Civil War.
Why UltraFENCE™ ? UltraFENCE™ was used as a cost saving alternative to three metre fencing due to the additional security provided by the anti grab UltraRAIL™ and the anti tamper UltraFIXINGS™. Two hundred and ninety metres of UltraFENCE™ have been used to secure the site perimeter for the duration of the project until its expected completion Autumn 2008.

The latest in a series of successful nationwide installations has been carried out at St Martins Catholic Primary School, Reading by the Betta Group on behalf of Reading Council. More than 400 metres of vertical UltraBAR™ now provides a safe and secure boundary for the school together with unlimited entrapment prevention, an essential requirement for a variety of applications but especially so in the school environment.
Supplied in two heights and complemented by one double and two single leaf gates, the system was able to adapt over a wide range of ground conditions and gradients at St Martins with ease according to the main contractor.
Peter Martin, Director of the Betta Group commented "We are very pleased with the results we are achieving with both bow topped and vertical UltraBAR™ over a wide range of ground conditions. We have also been particularly impressed with the manufacturer’s ability to provide the demanding specification on time and on budget which is always a critical factor in our selection of quality products."
