What we do.
The Hadley Group is one of the Worlds foremost manufacturers of cold rolled formed sections and allied products.
With more than 40 cold roll forming machines within the group we have the capability of forming sections from the lightest gauge available up to 10mm thick, in-line capabilities include, piercing, edge rolling, notching, welding, sweeping and inkjet marking.
Cross section shapes and lengths can be formed to very close, consistent tolerances, leading to dimensionally precise construction which may be important when fitting other components.
Sections can be manufactured to a wide variety of shapes to individual requirements or selected from a range of off-the-shelf products.
The range of materials that can be formed by the process are vast, whilst self colour materials are common place a considerable proportion of cold roll formed sections are manufactured from metalic coated material, which ensures high resistance to corrosion and an attractive surface finish.
A wide variety of plastic coated materials are also available, and these are often used for aesthetic purposes.
Design
Our specialist in-house capability provides engineering design and expertise to the operating companies which is a key factor in the differentiation between the Group and it's competitors.
Each operating company in the Hadley Group relies on production machinery designed and built in-house to exacting standards and supported by a level of maintenance simply not available elsewhere.
These services include the design and manufacture of production machines and tooling, product design and development and materials technology. An extensive commitment to computer aided engineering includes advanced interactive CAD and CAM equipment and the utilisation of machines such as sophisticated AGIE wire erosion equipment used for in-house and external commissions in the production of punches, dies, gears, prototypes and three dimensional forms.
Advanced computer aided technology is used extensively in the development and production of cost efficient sections setting high standards of performance and reliability. These exacting standards are central to Hadley's manufacturing policy, their strict quality assurance requiring all companies within the Group to conform to BS EN ISO9001:2000.
