Sleeved Systems

This is the most commonly used Purlin System. It provides a cost effective roofing
solution to many building designs including the more complex. The sheeting line is easily varied by using a combination of Purlin depths and extended Cleats. The single spanning lengths, combined with simple fabricated Cleats, contribute to flexibility and to simplification of site handling logistics.

JOINT PLAN FOR SLEEVED SYSTEM

Sleeves required at every joint on the penultimate rafter and alternate joints thereafter.

Sections can be supplied as double spanning lengths if required.

HOLE CONFIGURATIONS

ALL HOLES ARE 14mm DIAMETER FOR M12 BOLTS

Extensive research and development went into the sleeve design, ensuring correct behaviour under all load conditions whilst remaining simple to use.

Tests proved that the sleeve profile, section lengths and hole configuration employed in the final design satisfy these parameters fully.
