INSULATH®

What is Insulath ?

Each roller shutter is made up of a number of interlocking sections called laths and bythe very nature of their section profile and the need for strength coupled with as little weight as possible, make the lath a perfect candidate for cold rolled forming.

Insulath®, as the name suggests, goes a stage further however, and incorporates an environmentally friendly insulation in-fill designed to easily slide into the interlocking twin skins of the section.



The result is a thermally efficient barrier which gives the inside temperature of the building protection from outside extremes.

What this means is that an Insulath® door can be installed to combat both cold and excess heat making it the ideal solution for extra hot locations such as the Middle East.

Benefits

INSULATH^® unique patented section will wrap around a 127mm (5”) barrel when used with the INSULATH^® Barrel Lath. Our Design ensures that the Barrel Wrap dimensions are significantly reduced.

INSULATH^® has a thermal value of 0.69W/m2K. acoustic value of 18dB(A). As derived by the University of Central England calculations.

Available in a range of finishes including galvanised, plastisol, aluminium & stainless steel.
